Benchmark Project Management are an External Works Contractor which formed in 2005 after recognising the market requirement in the South West for a reliable and competitive Hard Landscaping / Civil Engineering Organisation.

Our expertise lie in undertaking a wide range of Hard Landscaping and External Work Schemes with contracts from car park construction to regeneration and infrastructure projects.

Our client base ranges from the Private Sector, the Public Sector including Local Authorities and Housing Associations, the Commercial Sector, Cemeteries and Crematoriums, Utility Companies, Railways and Ministry of Defence facilities.

Whether you’re a Client, Designer, or Contractor we all have a Duty of Care towards those who undertake works on our behalf.

Current (CDM 2015) legislation states that one should as far as is reasonably practicable, eliminate foreseeable risks to the Health and Safety of those carrying out works. Further to this, if the risk cannot be eliminated, then steps must be taken as far as it is reasonably practicable to reduce the risk.

At Benchmark we pride ourselves on our Health and Safety record and can provide a cradle to grave underground location service for all types of sites. Service provisions include:

Desktop Utility Search (PAS 128 Survey Type D) - Obtain utility plans

Site Reconnaissance (PAS 128 Survey Type C) - On site check to validate Type C Survey

Undertake Location/Detection Survey (PAS 128 Type B) - Undertake site mark up

Undertake Type B Survey (PAS 128 Type A ) - Excavate/expose services to identify location and depth

The above Survey detection methods allow us to not only conform to current legislation, but also provide a pro-active solution to both safeguard ourselves and others from possible injury and costly future claims.
