Work included:
Site investigation works including GPR survey & establishment of the existing service & utility arrangement.
Site clearance including removal of existing gates and existing kerb-lines.
Installation of new service ducting and service chambers to meet the requirements of the new infrastructure design & gates.
Adjustment & installation of new PCC carriageway kerb-lines and edgings for the footpaths.
Installation of 2no. automated access control, trackless bi-folding gates & accompanying CPNI rated steel fencing. Installation of 2no. automated access control, trackless bi-folding gates & accompanying CPNI rated steel fencing. Installation of 2no. automated access control, trackless bi-folding gates & accompanying CPNI rated weldmesh fencing.
Electrical and data communication cabling, connections, testing & commissioning.
Plane off 40mm from the existing surface course at the site entrance & resurface with 40mm of SMA10 surface course material, laid by machine.
Overlay existing footpaths with 25mm of AC6 close graded surface course, laid by hand
Saw cut and install 2no. sets of gate safety loops (electrical induction).
Lay thermoplastic line markings to the new site entrance.
Erect new site signage.
Finishing works including soft landscaping and the installation of stone ‘sterile’ margins at the base of the new CPNI fence panels.
Note: Access control infrastructure and management of the system, supplied by others.
