Ludgershall Demolition 

Work included: 

Close liaison with end user, due to being in a rail environment. 
Collection of Asbestos dust residue by specialist licensed contractor. 
Disconnection of electric & water services. 
Erect temporary works to protect the adjacent railway line from damage, dust and debris. 
Empty & clear the building of electrical fixtures & fittings. 
Carefully demolish Bld.133, Chequers Hut, which was made of brick and concrete construction. 
Carefully break out the raised platform area, that the building was located on, which was of brick and concrete construction. 
Separation of waste & removal off site, to a licensed recycling centre, to be crushed & recycled. 
Saw cut new joints around the perimeter of the platform footprint. 
Lay & compact Type 1 sub-base 
Handlay AC20 binder course and AC10 surface course materials to reinstate the hardstanding, parking area. 
Over-band & seal the joints.
