Innovation:

BPM proposed and installed a resin bound surface material along the footpath due to its excellent permeability properties, which significantly improve surface water drainage. The porous nature of the resin bound system allows rainwater to pass through the surface and into the underlying sub-base, reducing the risk of standing water, surface runoff, and localised flooding. In addition to enhancing drainage performance, the resin bound finish provides a durable, low-maintenance, and visually attractive surface suitable for pedestrian use, while also contributing to a safer walking environment through improved slip resistance and reduced water accumulation.
