Lee Probert Managing Director
Established the company in 2005 and has since seen the company develop and flourish into a business which reflects professionalism and reliability, whilst maintaining its ethical and moral responsibilities. Current responsibilities include all Commercial matters and overseeing the overall general performance of the company and its employees.
Jon Kitching Compliance Officer
Joined the company in March 2017. His skills were quickly identified by the MD and he quickly became promoted to Company Supervisor. After continually presenting further abilities, Jon's role had developed to Compliance Officer. Responsibilities involve: Project Delivery, Quality Control, IT support, Estimating, Invoicing, Security, HSE Compliance and Occupational Health.
Kirsty Jenkins Finance Manager
Began working for the company in November 2017 when the company’s expansion required a dedicated employee to manage the Sage accounting system, along with the Invoicing and Debtors.
Kerry Probert Office Administrator
Began working for the company in November 2017 when the company’s expansion required an employee to manage the entire Business Administration. Responsibilities include: Cost Clerk, Secretary, Quality Assurance Co-Coordinator and general assistance to all Supervisors, Managers and the Managing Director
Neal Curtis Contracts Manager
Began working in a temporary role with the company in 2012 and started full-time employment in 2014. Responsibilities include Full Management of the South West Regional Prime Contract (MOD) in the Avon, Gloucester, Wiltshire and Somerset regions
Neil Probert Contracts Manager
Began working for the company in 2019. Responsibilities include Full Management of the South West Regional Prime Contract (MOD) in the Devon, Dorset, Cornwall and Hampshire regions and is also responsible for the management of the larger scale BPM projects.
Mark Andow Contracts Manager
Joined the company in 2011 as a Site Operative and went on to demonstrate good management skills which developed into Mark becoming a Site Supervisor.
In march 2019 Mark was promoted to Contracts Manager after showing continual developments in many managerial duties.
Liam Coyne Site Supervisor
Began working for the company in 2005 as a Site Foreman but his obvious experience and people skills resulted in him becoming SSSTS trained and Supervising on site the Civil Engineering and Ground works projects. Responsibilities include the supervision of site operatives and ensuring a safe working on-site environment.
Gary Holding Site Supervisor
Gary joined the company in 2016 as a Site Operative. During 2018 Benchmark was looking for additional supervision resource and due to Gary's reliability and trustrworthyness we were happy to promote within. SSSTS trained personell and Gary's skills and comitment to H&S, honesty and reliabilty made him a great candidate. His now responsibilities include the supervision of site operatives and ensuring a safe working environment on-site.
Neil Andow Site Supervisor
Joined the company in 2011 as a Site Operative and went on to demonstrate adept H&S awareness skills resulting Neil gaining SSSTS. Supervising on site the Civil Engineering and Ground works projects. Responsibilities include the supervision of site operatives and ensuring a safe on-site working environment. Neil also is on the Benchmark Safety Committee Team representing the workforce.

Health and Safety
Our commitment to Health and Safety is paramount. All our projects are controlled with a Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan and our employment of an external H&S Consultant (Building Safety Group) ensures our compliance with all current legislation.
We continually implement and enforce safety control measures on site by means of; Site Inductions, detailed Method Statements, Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, LOLER inspections, Ground Radar Surveys, Near Miss Reporting, Accident Reporting, Weekly Tool Box Talks, HAVs Controls, Fire Prevention, Daily Site Checks, Site H&S Audits, staff medicals and many more
To ensure that all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental items are addressed and relayed to the workforce, we hold 6 monthly committee meetings with site representatives, an office representative and the Managing Director.
Further evidence of our commitment to Health and Safety is our continued membership of several Accreditation bodies, who annually review and approve Company Procedures and Safe Systems of Work.
We understand the importance of complying with all legislation and regulations and are committed to employing best practice methods and moral behaviours.
We are fully committed to providing a service which causes minimum impact to the environment and are constantly looking at ways to improve sustainability and reduce our carbon footprint by reviewing our Method of Working, using well-established and new innovative techniques and education of our staff.
We have a company Environmental Policy and each site operates under a Site Specific Environmental Site Plan. Our External Environmental Consultant ensures our compliance with all current legislation.
