Innovation:

The existing chain-link fence was peeling away from the surface and ‘flapping in the Wind’. Insufficient funds were unavailable to replace the fence and supply new, therefore the fence was pinned to the existing posts with a timber kick board around its entire perimeter. A 6mm surface course was then placed to a depth of 35mm and two layers of Green Decagrip sprayed to the Surface. The Decagrip would allow increased grip to the surface, making the court a safer place to execute the various games.

To maximise usage a Tennis court, Basketball and Volleyball line markings were laid making the court a multipurpose exercise area.

The above measures were undertaken to Value Engineer the project to fall within the restricted available budget but without compromising quality.
