A very exciting time for Benchmark as we are happy to announce that in the near future we will soon be moving to new premises. We have found and signed up to a perfect local office space still here in Clevedon at the old job centre.
But unfortunately due to the current coronavirus pandemic, its taking us a lot longer to move in, but as soon as the buildings ready and of course safe to do so we will post an update.
March has become a testing time for our great country as a result from the current pandemic COVID-19. Benchmark continues to operate during the UK lockdown after obtaining Key Worker status, this ensures we continue to support our critical clients like the MOD. To keep our clients, the public and our employees safe we are constantly updating and implementing current safety procedures provided to us from our H&S consultants The Building Safety Group.
Stay safe, healthy and alert everyone!
On the 2nd of January 2020 Benchmark held their annual company Workshop Seminar providing a great opportunity to communicate with the workforce.
On the agenda was company culture, 2019 performance review, company rules and boundaries, quality control, health and safety & environmental topics, business development and also the companies aims and ambitions for 2020.
During the seminar, the workforce took part in numerous planned activities. We wanted their opinion on how they thought the company performs at critical topics like health and safety and also their overall opinion of how management performs and if they had any ideas that could help improve the company further. Improvement suggestions were widely encouraged. Some of the comments received have already proven to be effective and insightful.
Festive celebrations taken place after another hugely successful year at Benchmark Project Management. Those who were brave enough to attend were treated to superb food, plentiful drink, lots of laughter and great company. Fun was had by all.
Beginning of November marked the successful completion of a large fencing project to vastly improve security at a MOD camp in Gloucester. Working in partnership with Allen Fencing, Benchmark undertook the groundwork's involving excavations, utilities enabling and a sterile stone margin. The project was a huge success with all parties happy with the performance and end result.

August BBQ 2019
This month Benchmark held its annual summer BBQ. Special thanks goes out to the MD Lee Probert for hosting the whole event and also to Kerry for organising it all. We were lucky enough to have amazing food, plentiful drinks, fun music, buckets of sweets, lively entertainers, two raffle prizes, huge bubble games; all topped off at the end of the day with the much loved (by kids) water balloon challenge. The event was very successful and we all had a great time, despite the changeable weather which caused a few of our activities to cancel. We would like to thank all of you that attended, because of your generosity we raised a nice sized donation to our nominated charity ssafa - the armed forces charity.
Well done goes to one of our Contracts Managers Mark Andow for achieving his Site Managers Safety Training Scheme accreditation.

Entering the New Year with the annual Benchmark Workshop where we consulted on the company's performance in 2018, further company aspirations for 2019, health & safety, quality controls, company rules, expectations of the staff. The workshop then finished with staff activities including company improvement ideas & suggestions, both of which has raised some interesting ideas which we plan to implement.
