Work included:
Assessment of investigation works and production of Site Specific, Confined Space RAMS.
RAMS submitted to VIVO Appointed Person (AP) for review & approval.
Removal of chamber cover and venting drainage line.
Air testing within chamber, prior to entry.
Equipment checks and placement of fall arrest equipment.
Entry into the chamber
Placement of sonde into pipe and location of existing drain run with EML Receiver.

Innovation:
• Tracing Drainage pipes with a sonde allowed the pipes to be mapped via Topographical survey.
• The sonde allowed a depth to invert of the existing drainage run to be obtained.
• Rodding the drainage system highlighted blocked drainage runs which in turn allowed us to pinpoint potential problems.
• The information gained from the survey allowed Martin Ralph to design a drainage system fit for a new office building.
